Advantages compared with other PLC solutions
The popular PLC is spread spectrum technology or signal channel routing technology. The spread spectrum technology is matured, transmitting based on multi frequency point, with high SNR. A transformer is must for signal coupling when the technology is used in PLC communication, and the signal attenuation is high, transmission distance is shorten because of high carrier frequency. The signal channel routing technology although extends the transmission distance, the time-variation and complexity of the PLC signal channel mode raise the manual routing debugging difficulty when construction, and the auto routing algorithm is demanded strictly.
The central frequency of our NB phase modulation mode can be as low as 12KHz, with high performance of anti-attenuation, better point-to-point communication capacity, it is in favor of strong communication network setup. The self-adaption signal channel anti-disturbing technology is employed for signal receiving, the receiving sensitivity is adjusted automatically according to ambient noises to get optimal result, and the communication performance is promoted; the automated networking mode can run directly without router’s parameters setting and nodes’ address configuring, and installation & debugging are simple. All these features make the data transmission to be more stable, reliable and faster.
Comparing with other mainstream PLC solutions, our solution extends the point-to-point transmission distance 2-3 times, and the system debugging period is cut 1/3-1/6.
